Library dependency packages provide the shared models, textures and other assets used by supported CFSS airports. Download the correct simulator edition and meet the minimum library version listed on your airport’s product page.

X-Plane 12
Install the actual CFSS Library package folder in X-Plane 12/Custom Scenery, with its contents intact. The library.txt file must be directly inside the package folder. Follow the included readme and your airport’s instructions.
Hay River (CYHY) requires CFSS Library 1.0.7 or newer. Check the package version before installing.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
Install the CFSS Library for MSFS 2024 in the Community folder used by that simulator, alongside the airport packages that require it. Check the minimum simulator and library versions listed on each product page.

One library per simulator installation
Keep one current copy of each required library. The X-Plane and MSFS libraries are separate packages; a library made for one simulator is not a substitute for another. For legacy MSFS 2020 and X-Plane 11 products, follow the requirements supplied with that specific package.
Symbolic links
When using symbolic links for CFSS CYHY, keep the actual CFSS - CYHY airport package and CFSS - Library package together in the same external subfolder. Create a separate link to each actual package inside Custom Scenery, preserving both packages’ contents.
