The disease known medically as cervical kyphosis or cervical lordosis, or "humpback neck," is characterised by an abnormal curvature of the cervical spine (neck area). Poor posture, trauma, degenerative changes in the spine, and congenital anomalies are some of the causes of this. Headaches, tingling in the hands or arms, stiffness, and neck pain are some of the possible symptoms. Physical therapy, posture correction, and, in extreme circumstances, surgery are available as forms of treatment. Effective treatment of a humpback neck requires early diagnosis and appropriate care.
